Systems Integration

Worldflow have recognised that within the finance community there is still a considerable amount of time and resource invested in the integration of systems. As the number of systems involved in the industry continues to increase the automation of business flows becomes more critical. Integrating new or improved systems with the rest of the technology or business processes within a bank takes a significant amount of time and money.

Worldflow have developed the Functionate™ (F⁸) toolset to help solve this repetitive problem. Functionate™ is a new class of "functional middleware", which differs in that is has a built-in the 'understanding' of the financial instrument structure and content of the data being managed.

Functionate™ uses a series of native adapters to connect directly to 3rd party and proprietary systems. It then normalizes the inbound data and enables varying business functions to be performed. Once the data has been processed or 'enriched' it is transmitted to other systems via the appropriate adapter.

Functionate™ has adapters for Murex, Kondor+, Wall Street Systems, OMR, TraderTools OMS and Reuters RET and supports Foreign Exchange, Equities, Interest Rate Derivatives and Fixed Income.
