Using our extensive experience of business processes and financial systems, Worldflow are able to review a complete business function and its supporting systems. We manage a 'Review and Fix' project by assigning a team of experts with complementary skills to review all relevant process flows, and make practical recommendations within technology and business areas to achieve the necessary improvements.

The 'Review' process is conducted over a short period of time, and normally fixed price. This gives the client confidence they will get results and understand their key issues quickly and cost effectively. The "Fix" recommendations will identify priority issues that need be addressed in the short-term and a set of medium term options to address larger or more complex issues encountered in the review.

Worldflow consultants have directly managed the creation of new businesses within investment banks and helped start up retail banking and private investor businesses. We successfully managed new product launches; program managed major bank mergers and acquisitions. Our experience extends to directing the consolidation of branch networks and the retirement of legacy systems and infrastructure.

Worldflow business analysts are product specialists across a range of asset classes including Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income Securities, Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate products. They have both the business and technical skills to design and evaluate new pricing models; to specify functional requirements for system enhancements and the experience to optimize business processes and workflows.

With our in depth business and product experience and our knowledge of the systems and vendor marketplace we have led many projects to help define business requirements, identify a shortlist of suitable vendors, and manage the RFI/RFP process. We have also led the selection process in reviewing systems capabilities for the front office, risk management and settlements areas.

Financial organisations invest a significant amount of time and money in computer systems. However, installation of third party new software packages is something that only happens periodically. This will result in each installation becoming a learning experience. Worldflow has partnered with many leading financial systems vendors and our implementation. Our staff have in depth experience of installing complete new systems, upgrades, system setup and configuration as well as testing and conducting user acceptance exercises. By using Worldflow staff the implementation time can be significantly reduced by leveraging the experience gained at other finance houses and projects. These skills are equally relevant in the deployment of in-house systems

With projects under tight timescales to deliver, an area that often gets inadequate attention is the QA process. With incomplete testing defects may only be identified after the system has gone 'live' potentially with significant impact or financial loss. At Worldflow we have developed a test methodology that is designed to ensure complete and comprehensive testing of new systems and upgrades. Manual or automated test scripts are defined to conclusively prove business and functional correctness as well as exercise all relevant technical and operation aspects of systems.
